Proposify is built around the proposal document itself: how it looks, how it is assembled, and what happens to it after you hit send. Proffa is built around what has to be true before work can start. That difference explains most of the comparison below.

Disclosure: Proffa publishes this page. Proposify is described from public information, and we say where it is the better fit.
What Proposify is good at
Proposify gives teams strong control over proposal design and visibility into the proposal lifecycle, with customisable templates, tracking and analytics on how recipients engage with a document, plus CRM integrations. For a sales team that sends visually rich proposals and wants to manage them as a pipeline of documents, that is a good fit.
Why this matters
If your proposals are a design artefact that wins work on presentation, and you want analytics on which sections get read, Proposify is aimed directly at you.
Where Proffa is different
Proffa treats the proposal as one step in a longer chain rather than the destination. The engagement terms are signed with it, and the onboarding form that follows collects the details you need to actually begin. The document matters, but the outcome Proffa optimises for is a client who is signed and ready to start.
- Engagement terms accepted alongside the price, not as a separate document.
- Onboarding form attached to the engagement so details arrive at signature.
- Service templates that keep pricing consistent across the firm.
- Signing with no client account, password or app.
- A pipeline that tracks the client, not just the document.

Which one should you choose
Choose Proposify if the proposal document is your main sales asset, if design control matters, or if you want detailed analytics on how prospects read what you send.
Choose Proffa if the document is a means to an end, and the thing you actually want to shorten is the time between an enquiry arriving and a client being signed, onboarded and ready to work with.
How we compared
We compared the two products on the jobs a professional services firm actually needs done: quoting the work, getting terms agreed, capturing a signature, and collecting what is needed to start. Claims about Proffa come from the product itself. Claims about Proposify come from their own pricing and integrations pages, checked on the review date shown at the top of this page and listed under Sources below. Where we could not confirm something from their site, the table says so rather than guessing. Pricing changes often, so check their pricing page before you decide.
